Artifact Donation

The Seaford Historical Society is always in search of artifacts that will help us tell the story of our community. If you have any objects or documents related to the history of town, then we may be interested in adding them to our collection.

Examples of artifacts include:

  • Photographs of people, places, or events from our past
  • Signs or advertisements from local businesses
  • Objects used in and around the Seaford Community

Because of limited space, we cannot keep everything. Our Accessions Committee meets regularly to review donations and determine what will be accepted.

If you are interested in donating or loaning items from Seaford’s past, please complete the form at right, or call our office at (302)628-9828.

Items accepted for donation become the property of the Seaford Historical Society, which may display, store, sell, or dispose of them. Donors will receive receipts for their items, but the Seaford Historical Society does not provide appraisal services.
