The venues of the Seaford Historical Society offer classic and unique venues for your special event. Enjoy hosting a small party or dinner in the home built by Delaware’s youngest governor. Hold your reception or business retreat in the modern Ross Station Event Center. And the ground of the Ross Farm are perfect of large events and festivals; or for enjoying a relaxing stroll through the serene landscape during your indoor event. Any event held at our venues will be long remembered!
The Ross Station Event Center
Our premier venue, the Ross Station Event Center features a 3,800 square foot banquet hall that has table seating for up to 225 and theater seating for 300. The adjoining multipurpose room is ideal for small gatherings, as a bar/refreshment area, or staging for the main hall.
Ross Station’s interior is trimmed with locally sourced cypress and has views of the Ross Mansion, Ross Farm, and the pecan grove. Other amenities include a caterer’s prep kitchen, video projection with HDMI connection, a building-wide sound system with PA, USB charging stations, and free Wi-Fi for your guests. The Governor Ross Mansion
Completed in 1860, the Governor Ross Mansion offers elegance in an intimate setting. Clients will have use of the formal Main Parlor, the Entry Hall with its graceful staircase, and the Dining Room. The home features original and period furnishings in an idyllic setting that harkens to a more elegant age. To maintain the integrity of the space, events inside the mansion are limited to 40 people. The Governor Ross Farm
Have your outdoor event or festival with the elegant Ross Mansion as the backdrop. Or, perhaps you prefer rustic red barns. Or, a pecan grove. The Ross Farm offers these options and more! And there is plenty of room for tents of any size on the farm’s 20 acres.
The Governor Ross Farm may be used as its own venue, or in combination with Ross Station or Ross Mansion. The Farm also provides ample parking for all of our venues, with many areas being RV-friendly. Contact us to learn more!

All event packages include the assistance of our on-site Event Manager, ample off-street parking, and exclusive use of the facility on the day of the event.
Seaford Historical Society facilities are closed Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
